![]() ![]() We went to Busch Gardens for a day when it got a bit chilly for beach fun. Check out the other places where your money is valued. Better music and bars on the same street. Worst management, customer service, and experience ever. The white manager showed no remorse for his employee and said we should try visiting again on a different day. Then, I was able to speak to two managers. My cousin had a panic attack and the security guard continued to push us out yelling at us. Instead of trying to Deescalate the situation, the black female security guard was overly aggressive pushing my cousin while she was on the floor and then pushing me and my family out. When my cousin went to the stage to tip and dance with the Drag, an employee pushed my cousin and started a physical altercation. Unfortunately, this establishment has aggressive untrained security. For example, tonight, I tried to enjoy my first night out in Tampa. Do not bother complaining or feeling like you have any rights in this establishment. I can't say enough good things about them.ĭo not waste money here. This was above and beyond, and having been denied the means to properly support the venue, I wanted to give them this review, and to thank them again for their kindness. I had the cash (plus tip), but they wouldn't accept it, probably thinking that I'm hurting financially. They did but refused to take My money on the first. Although it was only $4, it would have overdrafted, so I asked them to reverse and let Me pay with the first. I let them know that I would pay with the first card at the end of the night, but they forgot and charged the second card. I had to swap cards to hold My tab, so that I could buy a CD and shirt from Vision Video. Tonight, they were degrees beyond nice, and the VERY least that I could do was to leave this review. They're a great venue for shows, and the bar staff are amazing. ![]() I've been there for the first two days of Absolution Fest, and then again tonight for the Wingtips show, with Violet Silhouette and Vision Video opening. I'll think twice before attending another show here. I really loved this place at first but the end if the night put me off it completely. After all the money we spent and a good time had, they spoiled it. We had every right to finish the drink but the security staff were being bullies. We stopped to finish our drink, still inside the venue, before 0300, and a security guard snatched the drink out of my friends hand and threw it away. We got to the door, knowing we couldn't take the drink with us. Since the lights came on, people in VIP started handing out drinks and we were sipping a vodka cocktail on our way out. For reference, I was front and center for Of The Trees and they killed the whole vibe. This venue cut the lights on before 0240. All my issues with this place came at the end of the night.Īpparently, things close down in Ybor at 3am. The main stage area was large and seemed to have good VIP seating/ views. The bar staff were very efficient (and we spent lots of money at the bar, which is important later). They had an act playing in the front room while we waited for the main stage to open. I was initially very impressed with the venue. This was my first time seeing a show at The Ritz Ybor. ![]()
